God of the wonders of life, Thank you for this opportunity I have to come into your presence and surrender my heart and my burdens before you. My prayer today is that I want to be a more determined person in life. One who shows firmness and has a strong character. Help me to do the right thing without expecting any kind of gratitude or reward. Even if others mock or criticize me, I want to always take the actions that are gracious and kind. God of glory, It is bad for us to lie. Falsehood diminishes trust between us and can cause irreparable damage. Therefore, I ask you to give me a loving heart that makes my tongue speak only the truth and nothing but the truth. No matter what circumstance I find myself in, give me the courage to speak the truth without fear of retribution. Make me someone with high morals, displaying honesty, transparency and trustworthiness. Through Jesus, I ask these things, Amen.

Prayer to Speak Up When It Matters

God high in the heavens, I ask you to give me strength and courage to speak freely whenever that is necessary for me to do so. If I see something that is morally questionable, help me to speak up against it. If someone is offending me or trying to walk all over me, give me the ability to stand up for myself. If I have an opinion or want to say something in a conversation, encourage me not to be afraid to talk about it. Grant me also the courage to stand up for all those who cannot speak up for themselves or cannot assert their rights or their boundaries. God, give me the heart of a wild lion who fears no one and nothing, but who fears only his Creator, which is you. Amen.

Mighty Lord, Thank you for giving me this opportunity to come to you. I pray that you give me the courage to confront someone, because I want to resolve this problem once and for all. Grant me the strength to speak freely without being afraid. Give me also wisdom and the right words at the right time. Let what I have to say strike the right chord. And if it does not, make me strong enough to accept what I cannot change and embrace your will. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray, Amen.

Loving Father, Today I bring all these emotions of fear and anxiety before your throne of grace. Every time my heart starts beating too fast, lay your hand on it and calm it. When I begin to sweat chillingly, give me your heavenly warmth. When my muscles are tense and I become motionless, let me feel that you are embracing me with your love. In the days when my stomach churns and I don’t feel like eating, feed me with your Divine Word. When I struggle to concentrate because the problems are too many, clear my mind and remove my doubts. Whenever I feel dizzy, weak, confused and fatigued, fill me with the fire of your Holy Spirit and restore and revive my whole being. Amen.

Step 2 – Praise God:

That He is the Lord of hosts and that He has never lost a battle.
That He has the power to help His children whenever He wants and to the extent He desires.

Step 3 – Offer Him Thanks:

That He promised to be with you all the days of your life.
That He promised to give you His divine peace.
That He will never fail you and abandon you.
That we can also overcome the world, because Jesus Christ is our example.

Step 4 – Ask God:

To make you a strong-spirited person, full of courage and self-confidence.
To remove all your fears and anxieties.
To help you to be fearless of what may happen tomorrow.
To help you become strong, even if others or the whole world around you is shaking.
To let His peace be in your mind and heart.
To grant you a spirit of strength, love and self-control.
To give you perseverance and determination to move forward no matter what.
To empower you to walk through life with both determination and purpose.

Awesome God,
You have given us this land to inhabit, but You know very well that it is not doing well and we need Your intervention to heal our land and give us the guidance to be better stewards.

Today I present to You the most critical issues affecting us. I ask You to improve the lack of economic opportunity. May more businesses prosper so that there will be less unemployment. Eliminate the wars between nations and all kinds of conflicts that countries have internally.

Lord, you are our provider; I ask you to please provide food and water for all those in need. Eradicate corruption in governments and bring corrupt leaders to justice. Heavenly Father, I humbly come before you today. I come to lay before your feet my stressful (life, job, family, situation).

This stress is affecting my body, my thoughts and my feelings. I feel restless, overwhelmed and I lack focus.

Your Son, Jesus said: Ask and it shall be given to you. Therefore, Lord, I pray today for your peace in my life. Let your perfect peace fill my soul. Bring me into your loving presence and let your tender mercy comfort me. Cause my heart to rest and not be anxious. Cause my mind to relax and not be stressed. Allow my sleep to be sweet and restorative, so that I can wake up everyday refreshed and filled with joy to be at my best every day of my life.

Holy Father, Here I am, once again before your throne.

Thank you for the privilege of addressing you and asking you for your divine intervention.

Lord, your word tells us: to NOT be anxious about anything. But, at this very moment, my mind is overwhelmed and my heart is restless. General Prayer for Protection

Awesome God I lift my voice to you in this very moment and I thank you for your wonderful power. You created the universe, the stars at the sky, the earth and everything that has breath. There is nothing in this universe that can hold you back. No force can bind your hands or subdue you into submission. You have total power over all things and all circumstances.

Therefore, here I am my Lord. I ask you for your divine protection over my life, my household, my properties, and everything and everyone that is dear to me. Shield me with your presence. Cover me under your mighty wings. Protect me from the hands of bad people. Keep me safe from the traps of enemies. Do not allow evil to come near. Make me aware of bad friends that are conspiring against me. Please, don’t let me fall into their deception and dishonesty. Open my eyes, Oh Lord, so I can see evil ahead of time and move away from destruction.

Thank you Father for your protection. I believe, I trust, and I know in my heart that my life is safe in your all-powerful hands.

Prayer for Protection For Physical Body

Heavenly Father, In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I come before your Holy Throne to ask for absolute and complete protection of my whole being.

Shield my physical body from any disease and any ill effects of emotional stress and toxic in the air. Protect my organs from injury, infections and malfunctioning. Conserve my body cells from unfavorable conditions and damage, and eliminate unwanted cells. Prevent my bones from fracture and loss of strength. Protect my immune system from self-attack and external diseases.

Keep my eyes from seeing things that dishonor your Name. Cover my ears from hate speech, wicked songs, and the noise of lies and deceptions. Set a guard over my mouth, so that I can only speak the truth, and words that uplift and inspire. Refrain my hands from doing wrong, but help them to do good when it is in my power to do so. Divert my feet from danger and keep me from walking into darkness and destruction.

Preserve my heart from loving and wanting what is evil in your eyes. Allow in my mind whatever is true, noble, right, holy, lovely, admirable or anything that is excellent and praiseworthy.

Lord, cover me under your Mighty Wings as an eagle covers its young. Instruct your angels to carry me in their hands wherever I go. Let me find refuge in your strong tower. And live my entire life under your protection and safety.

Affirmation Prayer for Protection

In the Mighty Name of Jesus, I now proclaim divine protection over my life. God is my place of safety and my fortress. I am safe from danger and destruction. I am free from injury or harm. I am covered under the Wings of Almighty God. I am shielded by the Presence of Jehovah.

Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil. Because Jehovah-Nissi is with me The Lord is my banner, my shield and my protection.

I declare that I am fearless from the inside out, because God gave me a Spirit of power, love and self-control. The earth can rumble and shake. Mighty thunders can strike before me. Deadly winds can blow from unforeseen directions. Heavy rains can happen sudden and unexpectedly. A thousand may fall at my side and ten thousand at my right hand. But, nothing will touch me.

The economy of my country may tumble. Deadly diseases and viruses can strike. Crime and violence can increase. People can curse and bad-mouth me all they want. My enemies could plan their best attack against me. But, nothing will harm me.

I am a Child of the Most High God. He is able to prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. His loving-kindness and goodness are following me. His angels are guarding me in all my ways. I am safe, secure and protected.

I declare these words, I believe and I trust. AMEN.

Prayer 1

Dear Lord in the Holy Name of Jesus, I come before you to ask you to set me free from the feelings of fear and anxiety in my heart and in my mind.

Father, you told us clearly in your Word to NOT be afraid of this world or our circumstances, because your Presence is with us. But, in this very moment I’m afraid and my mind is not at peace. God, please, come and help me in this time of trouble. Lay your hand on my heavy heart, remove the fear and let me feel your calmness. Lay your hands on my head, remove my negative thoughts and let your holy peace fill my mind.

In accordance to your Word, I believe that you didn’t give me a Spirit of fear, but of power, love and self-control. Yes, I believe this and I put my trust in you. AMEN.

Prayer 2

Father, here I am before your throne with a heavy heart and an anxious mind.

Come, Lord, and fill me with your Holy Presence. Let me rest and be at peace. Let me feel your protection. Let me feel as if I’m under the shadow of your Wings. Safe, hidden and secure in you. Only you can give and take it all.

I pray, Father, please take my fear away and give me your peace that surpasses all understanding. You know that my life is in your Hands. My trust and my hope is on you alone, Father. Thank you, in the Name of Jesus. AMEN.

Heavenly Father,

I thank you for your might, control and dominion over this world and everything that lives in it. Thank you for giving us your Word and equipping us for the constant battles that are happening in our life and around us. You said in your Word (Ephesians 6:10-18), to put on your Full Armor so that we can stand strong against evil.

Today, in accordance to your Word, I put on the Full Armor of God so I may be able to stand my ground and resist any attack on my mind, my life, my family and everything dear to me.

I put on the Belt of Truth to defend myself against lies, deceptions and false accusations. I put on the Breastplate of Righteousness to protect my heart from falling into temptation. I put on the Shoes of Peace that will allow me to go in the world and share the Gospel of Christ without fear and worry. I put on the Shield of Faith to cover myself and extinguish the flaming arrows of any adversary. I put on the Helmet of Salvation to safeguard my mind and my thought. I take in my hands the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

Thank you, Dear Lord, for your Armor of Protection. I am confidence that in this daily battle you are at my side fighting with me and for me. Thank you for the promise of your Son Jesus to be with us to the very end of the world.

Prayer for Protection for the Whole Family

Oh Lord my God, into your hands, I commend my whole family and all the people dear to me.

Lord, I ask you to put a border of protection around every single one of us. Let your angels surround my family, our household and our properties like a ring of fire. Shield us under the shadow of your Wings. Keep us near your heart and hold us tenderly. Be with us in good and in the face of evil. Guide us through the challenges of life and give us strength to overcome.

Thank you Oh Lord for hearing my prayer on behalf of my family. AMEN.

Prayer for Protection for a Marriage

Holy Father, you know that it is not easy in this world to stay happily committed to each other in marriage. All kinds of bad influence could intrude and cause trouble. That’s why, I approach your throne today to pray for your divine protection over my marriage.

Lord, do not allow a lack of communication, lies and dishonesty near our tent. But, let us be good listeners, appreciating and admiring each other’s opinions and qualities.

Banish any kind of bitterness, bad temper, and resentment in our lives. Help us forgive one another freely and become more willingly to forget our wrongdoings.

Lord, you understand all the temptations that face us today. I ask you to preserve our hearts from lusting after someone else and shield our minds from sinful thoughts. Protect my wife/husband from the temptations and snares of another man/woman. Deliver our marriage from lustful eyes. Be our strength and don’t allow us to enter into temptation or cause other to fall.

Father, rebuke every tongue that spoke out against our marriage. I proclaim that every negative words spoken against us will not prevail. But, I now speak blessing, grace and love over our marriage.

I believe and trust that our marriage will triumph and will last according to God’s plan. AMEN.

Prayer for Protection for Children

Heavenly Father, I trust you with my children and every aspect of their life. Therefore, I ask you in the Name of Jesus to put a hedge of protection around them, day and night, and everywhere they go all the days of their lives.

Send your angels to watch over them and protect them from evil. Wrap them in your loving arms and shield them from crime and violence. Look after them, Lord, everywhere they go and do NOT allow any attack on their physical body, their mind and their thoughts.

Break all negative influences that may come on their way and lead them to destruction. Remove bad actors from their lives and help them choose godly friends with similar values and common goals. Open their eyes, so they can always choose the right direction and stay on your path of protection and safety. AMEN.

Affirmation Prayer for Protection to Pray over Children

Father, in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, I now declare a blessing of protection over my children.

You are a son/daughter of God Almighty. You are wrapped in the loving arms of God. Your protection is under His Wings. No evil will come near you. No plan against you will prevail. Malicious eyes will not prey upon you. Negative words will not harm you. Violence will not touch your body. Accidents will not happen to you.

You are NOW safe, secure, shielded and protected. I declare all these over you now. I believe and I trust. AMEN.

Prayer for Protection on the Way to Work

Dear Lord, now that I’m leaving my home to go to work, I ask you for your divine protection on the road. Protect me from accidents due to a vehicle malfunctioning or a reckless driver. Do not allow any injury come near my body. Open my eyes wide open and remove any distraction, Lord, so I can pay full attention on the road. Protect me also from crimes. Frustrate any plot against me. Cover me under your Wings and hide me from the preying eyes of criminals.

In the Name of Jesus, I pray. AMEN.

Prayer for Protection for Dangerous Jobs

Dear God, I thank for my job and your strength within me that allows me to work so I can put food on the table. But, as you know, my job is dangerous. And therefore, I pray for your shield of protection when I’m doing my job. Open my eyes so I can pay full attention of what I’m doing and the environment around me. Remove any distraction that may prevent me from focusing and cause accidents. Banish any thought of fear and anxiety from my heart. And cause me to be at peace when doing my daily duty. Thank you, Father, for your grace and mercy on my life.

Prayer for Protection from a Hostile Workplace

Heavenly Father, I thank you for the company I’m working for, my boss, my colleagues and any third party that I have to work with.

I pray you to protect me from any hostile and toxic situation in this company. If there are any secret plot against me, I ask you to expose it and destroy it in the process. When colleagues are talking behind my back, I ask you to give me the strength to ignore them and when necessary give me the courage to confront them in love and kindness. If there is any falsehood or gossip going around, I ask you to let me know about it and help me quickly put it to rest. Don’t allow me to become the victim of any harassment, bullying, discrimination and passive aggressive behaviors.

Bless my workplace, Lord, and change hatred into love, animosity into friendship, vengeance into forgiveness, gossip into appreciation, and competition into cooperation.

In the Name of Jesus, I pray. AMEN.

Prayer of Protection for Leaders and Authority

God Almighty, I come before you today with my President, his/her cabinet and staff situated in the country and around the world, the members of the Parliament and every single judges across the country; the leaders and members of the police, the fire department and our armed forces; and any other individual who holds a position of power in this country.

I pray Lord, protect them all, their families, and properties. Protect their coming and going as they do their jobs. Shield them from terrorist attacks, or domestic violence. Expose and destroy every plot and scheme against them. Make them aware of any danger around them and give them the knowledge and wisdom to respond properly. When in trouble, guide their footsteps in the path that leads to light. And help them realize that you alone are God, so they can live according to your Word and find refuge under the Shadow of your Wings.

I thank you Father for keeping them all safe and blessing them with your Salvation. AMEN.

Blessings for Protection and Safety

In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. May the Lord bless and keep this country safe. May the Lord be gracious to us and show us His wonderful mercy. May the Lord make His face shine upon us in times of trouble. May the Shield of Protection of God protect every man and women and every boy and girl. The plans and the schemes of our enemies will not succeed. No war will be waged against us, either physically, mentally or economically. Epidemics, virus outbreaks, health issues will not come near our tents. Terrorist attack, domestic violence and civil war plots will not prevail. Floods, storms, earthquakes, tsunamis, and the like will not harm us. May the Lord show us His favor and cause the Sun to shine gloriously on this country. AMEN.

Heavenly Father, I come before you and ask you to set me free from any thought and feeling of fear and anxiety. Lord, remove negative thoughts and lies that are hindering me from thinking straight. Dear Lord, I thank you that I can come into your Presence and present my request to you. I have to take this (school, work, immigration, etc.) test and I need your help to pass it successfully. I pray that you will remove all doubts and thoughts of failure from my mind. Banish all feelings of fear from my heart. Cause me to be relaxed and confident from start to finish. I pray also that you will open my mind so that I may understand the questions being asked. Help me provide the correct solution in a clear and understandable way. Help me also be quick so I can complete the test in the given time frame. I rely on you Lord and I trust that I will end up with a good grade so I can move on to the next challenges in my life (or next level, class, school, etc.). In the Name of Jesus, I pray, AMEN.

Heavenly Father, I come to you in the precious name of Jesus. Today, I’m having this driving license exam and I’m not at peace with this situation. Father, I ask you to put your hands on my head and remove all these negative thoughts from my mind. Embrace me in your arms and let me feel your love all over my body. Relieve me from all my fears and cause me to relax. Help me also Lord to pay attention on the road and the instructions given to me. Dear God, I thank you for this new opportunity of interviewing for a new job. But I’m scared for what would happen during this interview. Deuteronomy 31:6 Prayer

My God of Power, I come to you today in the Name of Jesus. Lord, I’m going through a situation right now and I feel intimidated by those around me. I ask you Lord to make me strong and give me the courage I need to humbly say what need to be said, tell the truth that need to be addressed or take the right decision. Don’t allow me to tremble in their presence or for their opinions or actions. Help me understand that I am your child and You are my God. Help me realize Lord that I can trust that you will never leave me nor forsake me. Thank you Lord for this promise. AMEN.


Psalm 34:4 Prayer

Heavenly Father, I read in Psalm 34:4 that David, when going through life problems, went to you for help, you listened and you delivered him from all his fears. Father, I humbly ask you, would you do the same for me today? My problems cause me to worry and fear for the future that lies ahead. Please Lord, hear my plea and remove my worries. Father, I feel overwhelmed by stress and worries, and it seems like anxiety is overtaking my life. That’s why, here I am Lord. I humbly come before your throne of mercy and grace. I come to give you my anxiety, the worries in my mind, all my negative thoughts, this feeling of overwhelming fear in my heart, and every single panic attacks. I lay all down before your throne. Thank you for taking them all. In Jesus’ Name I trust and believe. AMEN.


Psalm 23 Prayer

Heavenly Father, I praise you and thank you for being my Shepherd. Thank you for providing for my needs so that I lack nothing. Lord, I ask you to take away my anxiety and make me feel as if I’m lying down in green pastures. Lead me beside quite waters and refresh my soul. Show me your goodness and guide my paths, my feelings and my thoughts. I trust that You are always with me even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. I confess that I am fearless because you comfort me with your rod and your staff. Father, prepare a table for me in the presence of anyone who wants to hurt me or any challenge in life. Anoint my head with oil and let my cup overflow with your grace and mercy. Let your goodness and unfailing love follow me all the days of my life. And in your Presence I will dwell ‘till I see your face. AMEN.

Sometimes anxiety can be so overwhelming that it can hinder us from praying. In that case, you can read the Word of God. Here are two powerful Psalms to read when you feel anxious:


Psalm 23 NIV

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.

Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.


Psalm 91 WEB

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.”

For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart.

You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday.

A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you. You will only look with your eyes, and see the recompense of the wicked.

Because you have made the Lord your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and cobra. You will trample the young lion and the serpent underfoot.

Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him. I will satisfy him with long life, and show him my salvation.
